Complete redesign of the official website of Botinfy, a software development company.

The problem

The previous site was built on the same technology as the new one, so the problem was not technical but one of design and impact: it looked basic and conveyed no professionalism. For a company whose business is building software, the official site is a critical showcase — a visitor who arrives expecting good work and finds an unfinished site has their answer before reading a single line.

The solution

A seven-page site — among them Home, About, Products, Careers, Policies and Terms — with a far stronger visual identity and the experience looked after at the three sizes the design covers: mobile, tablet and desktop.

Decisions that define the result:

  • Motion with intent. The animations are built with GSAP: image carousels and light effects over headings and buttons. They give the brand presence without getting in the way of reading, which is what separates a site with character from a restless one.
  • Mobile is not an inherited adaptation. The existing design covered desktop only, so the mobile version was designed from scratch before being built, rather than letting the desktop layout shrink however it could.
  • Images optimized through Next.js’s Image component, which serves each device the size and format it needs instead of one file for everyone.

My role

I built the site’s frontend and designed the mobile version in full. Development took a month.

  • Design (UI): the desktop version started from a base made by the team, which I contributed ideas and adjustments to; the mobile version I designed entirely myself in Figma, because it did not exist. The brand guidelines were already defined and I worked within them.
  • Frontend: Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, across three breakpoints — mobile, tablet and desktop.
  • Animation: GSAP for the carousels and the light effects.

Project status

The site is live at botinfy.com, though it is no longer exactly the one I delivered: the company restructured part of the content and the pages describing the agents it offered are gone. Home and About remain practically identical to how I built them, and are the pages that best represent the work described here.
